Washington, Dec 23 (ANI): Miss Nevada-USA. Katie Rees has been officially replaced by first runner-up Helen Salas, after Rees’s scandalous photos hit the net.
The Miss Nevada- USA website has been updated to convey the information of Salas taking over the title, and a statement has been issued that Rees has been ‘relieved of her duties’.
The sensational photos showed Rees exposing herself inside a Tampa Bar, Fletcher’s Backstreet Grill, and outside an audio system company, Donovan Audio Designs Inc, according to TMZ.
Donovan has issued a statement on their website isolating themselves from the episode.
“There is no denying that these pictures were taken in front of our old office. However there were a number of pictures depicting a rather wild party as well. These pictures were not taken inside Donovan Audio’s offices, nor did the parties occur there,” Donovan said.
Though Rees has said nothing much in public, her MySpace blog page holds a Bob Marley quote’ Who are you to judge the life i live? I know I ‘am not perfect - and I don’t have to be, but before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean.” (ANI)
